The Office of Communications and Marketing provides graphic design, illustration, layout, editing, website design, and project management services to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Virginia Cooperative Extension.
Our publications vary widely — from educational materials to fact sheets to complex technical manuals — and can include full-color promotional materials, administrative reports, and other communications pieces for specific events and high-profile programs. In a typical year, our department creates nearly 400 individual products.
Our team assists with editing, graphic design, and layout services for newsletters for college departments, alumni, and Extension.
Our staff produces informational and promotional brochures for various projects, events, and programs.
Working with faculty members and Extension personnel, we produce field manuals, guides, and handbooks that document the most current research and information and distribute it to our stakeholders and the citizens of Virginia.
Our department develops and produces promotional and educational displays, posters, banners, digital signage, and billboards.
To serve the mission of Virginia Cooperative Extension, our department works with Extension specialists and agents to publish peer-reviewed research results and educational pieces for use by the public, Extension personnel, and professional audiences.
The Office of Communications and Marketing provides technical expertise, design, and communications strategy to develop or revise websites that best convey the work of the college and Extension to colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.
